God bless you for the info on YouTube! I am BMI affiliated producer /writer. How do I copyright songs with other artist or samples? Samples cleared and free of royalties. Also publishing control regarding splits?
You can only copyright your portion of ownership of the song that you produced/wrote. If the sample is cleared and free of royalties then you don't have to include them. Publishing control? - I'm not sure of your question. Please take the time to book a consultation with me here so we can get you all squared away: http://tamilatrell.com/us/contact/
Hi Tami it's StaffordTiger from twitter. I was trying to say that I actually want a career in music (I've always since about 6) What I was trying to say was I write a lot of music for both myself and I'd like to write for others. I'm trying to become a recording artist and a songwriter. I've written approx. 2,000 songs and I was wondering if I could send you a song I wrote for you to review and hopefully use for someone. It's not recorded but the lyrics are finalized and perfected.Tami LaTrell responded on 03/21/2016 Next question
I watched your video on YouTube about How To Fill Out Split Sheets and Publishing and I understand that's very important in the Music business. But my question to you is what if I am the artist and music producer AKA I made my own beat. So could you do an Example video of you actually filling it out because I am still a little confused? Could you a few example like if you are the only artist and you made your own beat. And you do a video on how to start your own Publishing company?
